SMALL ORNAMENTAL GOURDS
The size of a mandarin 6cm - 10cm.(refer to thumbnail 1).
They look great in a small bowl or basket or kitchen scales also, good for craftwork such as welcome wreaths. Great to make your own Christmas decorations to hang in the tree, (also children won’t cut themselves.) Easy to decorate, can be estapoled folk art, holly, cherries or bells for Christmas decorations, colour with shoe polish or decoupage with rice paper.

Great size for baskets, bowls or the grate in a fireplace. Approximately the same size as a pine cone. A good economical size for school students to practice on.

We normally combine a mixture of colours for you.
Or you can nominate the colour range which suits your décor best.
Our colours are Brown, Light Tan, Burgundy, Navy, Blue, Green & Red.
Note:- Not all are washed & coloured, some are coloured over the nice textured mould pattern.
Being a natural product all sizes and shapes vary and availability of all types is seasonal.

Hardshells are the more practical gourds that you can cut and make things with. You can choose from 3 different size boxes of different shapes according to your budget or how many Gourds you want on the next page.

The gourds drawn in the boxes are only examples of the shapes you receive in each box.
Or you can choose a particular shape by quoting the number from our gourd images and by requesting a specific size via email, we will try to match your needs (some gourds may vary slightly from those photographed).
Shell Thickness:- Please state as close as possible on your order form, what you intend to use your gourds for, e.g. painting, polishing, carving, decoupage, cutting to make things out of or as ornaments, so that I can pick the best gourd for your order.
Quality:- Each box of gourds is painstakingly selected with the very best quality available to meet your needs. Unwashed-natural: To keep costs to a minimum for you, all gourds are unwashed.
Washed:- For the person that’s short of time, we also have gourds that have already been washed, they have a smooth finish. However, there is a small fee. Please refer to your order form.
Postage & Freight:- Gourds travel well as they are light and very strong. Please refer to above prices for knowledge of postage prices. We have already added these to the prices on the order form for your convenience. We freight gourds all over Australia with very few breakages in a year. Remember DO NOT add the postal charges for dried gourds on your order form, as it is already included.
EXTRA LARGE GOURDS: - Over 30cm (12”) available on request via email.
